Meet the
Wieder
WHO WE ARE
Wieder Energy was created to support the new era of Brazilian onshore independent producers.
Our mission is to update and modernize the Oil & Gas infrastructure, making it easier for our customers to use the most modern technologies, equipment and services.
We have access to several suppliers of onshore production equipment, services and technologies, used in the most developed and mature markets in the world.
Wieder will initially have 2 main lines of business: Equipment Rental and Special Services. In both, Wieder understands that there are numerous opportunities to act, including in creative commercial and financial models: fixed contracts with variable prices, umbrella contracts, ad-hoc and call-by services, as an example.
PURPOSE
Wieder’s PURPOSE is to support the development of the Brazilian oil and gas market, through access to equipment, services and technologies from more mature markets.
MISSION
For this, it has established as its MISSION to be a bold, creative, uncomplicated and agile company in the search for solutions to meet the needs of the Brazilian market.
VISION
And as VISION, to be the preferred supplier of equipment and services for independent oil and gas producers in Brazil.
WHY?
Why Wieder Energy?
Wieder already has three flushby rigs, which is equipment for performing maintenance, cleaning and/or repair on onshore wells. Some advantages of this type of equipment are:
• Saving time and money;
• Flexibility, in terms of depths and diameters. In addition, it is capable of performing a variety of jobs, including well cleaning (including directional wells), insertable mechanical pump change, pistons, BCP rotors, rod column fishing, pressure testing, among others;
• Safety, if there is no need for the function of ‘roaster’, the operational risk decreases;
• Risk reduction, because the equipment is operated with a leaner team, has less peripheric equipment,easier DTM and with less heavy work;
• Improved productivity;
The business line ‘Special Services’, aims to help Brazilian operators in understanding, designing and operationalizing problems and / or complex needs of their business.
- Specialist in technical and financial solutions for the Oil & Gas market;
- Professionals with more than 30 years of experience in the market, with deep technical knowledge and relationship with the entire ecosystem of the industry, both in Brazil and abroad;
- We know the ‘pains’ of the industry and have a ‘lucid’ reading of the moment.
The business line ‘Special Services’, aims to help Brazilian operators in understanding, designing and operationalizing problems and / or complex needs of their business.
It is an ad-hoc service and designed according to the client’s need, but we can give some examples:
- Sourcing, acquisition and availability of equipment, parts and technologies
o Wieder may be responsible for understanding the customer’s need in relation to determining equipment, conducting the sourcing process, mediating the acquisition and supporting the ‘bureaucratic’ and legal import process. Its scope of action could end until the equipment is placed on Brazilian soil. - Lease
o Same process as before, but with the acquisition of the equipment by Wieder and lease via leasing. At the end of the contract, the customer could keep the equipment permanently, if it was in his interest. - Buy-lease back
o Model in which Wieder acquires the customer’s already nationalized equipment, making the capital available to the customer and guaranteeing the equipment through a lease and/or leasing agreement. Again, it is at the customer’s discretion to repurchase the equipment at the end of the contract, or even the structuring of a new operation. - Training and/or capacity building in processes and operation of equipment
o Wieder, by having within its corporate framework oil operators in mature markets, will be able to identify opportunities for training professionals, optimization of production processes, maintenance, among others.
Finally, it is important to note that everything we talked about above about Wieder is constantly evolving, and what we have concrete is that, by the end of May 23, we will have our first equipment available for the Brazilian market.
